Thomas Tuchel may dive into the transfer market to strengthen his Chelsea squad

Chelsea are in a spot of bother.

No wins in their last four Premier League outings makes grim reading for Blues fans. With the team sitting third in the table, 12 points adrift of runaway leaders Manchester City, the hopes of backing up last season’s Champions League triumph with a league title are fading.

Thomas Tuchel is enduring his first tough spell as Blues boss and might look to add fresh faces to his squad in order to fire his Chelsea team back up.

Here are two players SkyBet have tipped to make the move to Stamford Bridge and two others that have an outside chance of arriving in west London.

Eden Hazard – 8/1

The Hazard to Chelsea rumours refuse to go away, and with 10 days left in the transfer window. Could Hazard finally make the long awaited return to London?

The Belgian international have endured an injury hampered time in Madrid and a move back to the Premier League could reignite Hazard’s career.

It has, however, been reported in Spain that Chelsea is not an expected destination for him this month.

Ousmane Dembele – 5/1

Frenchman Dembele looks likely to be shown the exit door at Camp Nou after Barcelona’s Director of Football Mateu Alemany criticised Dembele for a lack of commitment and have told him to leave the club as soon as possible.

The talent has always been there from Dembele, but his awful injury record could be the main issue for any clubs interested in signing him.

The 24 year-old has only managed one goal and two assists for Barca so far this season. A reunion with former boss Tuchel could tempt the winger to make the move to Chelsea.

Diego Carlos – 16/1

With the future of Antonio Rudiger still yet to be decided, it is possible Chelsea are looking for his replacement already.

Sevilla’s Brazilian centre back, Diego Carlos could be the one to replace Rudiger at Chelsea. Carlos has impressed many throughout his time for Sevilla.

Newcastle looks to be within touching distance of getting a deal secured for Carlos, but a move to Chelsea could be more appealing to the Brazilian.

Declan Rice – 20/1

Declan Rice has been tipped to move to Chelsea for a long period of time and is also a rumour that hasn’t gone away.

The former Chelsea youth player and now West Ham captain has earned many plaudits for his performances at the London Stadium and for England during last year’s Euros.

Rice could well be the main man in the heart of Chelsea’s midfield for many years to come, and a chance to play with his best mate Mason Mount at the highest level could be something he can’t turn down.
