But now, Chelsea could be ready to offload young centre-forward Armando Broja to Southampton on a permanent deal before the end of the January transfer window.

The 20-year-old Albania International, who joined Chelsea back in 2018 has been an important member of the Chelsea youth squad over the previous seasons.

The young striker was sent out on loan to Vitesse during the 2020/2021 season where he scored 11 goals and created three assists in 34 appearances in all competitions.

Armando Broja returned to Chelsea in the summer before securing another loan move to join Southampton where he has scored seven goals and provided one assist in the 21 matches he has played so far.

Meanwhile, his outstanding performances in front of goal is believed to have impressed the Southampton board and according to reports from popular transfer expert Fabrizio Romano via his verified Twitter page, they are willing to sign Armando Broja on a permanent deal.

The reports further claimed that Southampton are ready to launch a bid worth up to £25million to sign the young striker on a permanent deal from Chelsea.

Fabrizio Romano further stated that the proposed £25million will be submitted soon as Southampton aim towards keeping the young Armando Broja at the club for longer.

But then it remains to be seen if the proposed £25million will be enough to convince Chelsea into offloading the highly-rated striker to Southampton on a permanent deal.
