Chelsea confirm first summer signing of world-class player after Todd Boehly takeover completed

The West London based club Chelsea are in advanced talks to sign highly-rated Moroccan defender, Achraf Hakimi from French side Paris Saint Germain this summer transfer window.

According to various reports in London, The Blues are keen on signing the 23-years-old defender this summer in order to improve their full-backs position ahead of next season.

The versatile defender Achraf Hakimi who was linked to Chelsea all through last season opted to join French side Paris Saint Germain.

The English Premier League giants Chelsea are aiming to bring another full-back into the squad in order to replace Marcus Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta who are set to leave the club this summer.

The West London based club Chelsea are confident in signing him this summer having held talks with his agents but they haven’t submitted any official bid to his current club, Paris Saint Germain.

According to various reports, The Blues have reportedly offered him a 135,000 euros weekly wages to convince him in signing for the club.

The 23 years old Moroccan defender was instrumental for his club as they won the French Ligue 1 title this season.
