Arsenal has completed signing of FC Porto midfielder on a five-year contract deal after agreement reached between both parties.
A new midfielder signing is underway at the Emirate Stadium, with Arsenal said to be in advance talk with FC Porto for Fabio Vieira.
The new Premier League campaign is set to kickstart in August with Arsenal facing Crystal Palace on the opening match day, the Gunners are already in the transfer Market trying to get some deals done in order to bolster their squad.
According to Fabrizio Romano “Arsenal have reached full agreement with Porto for Fábio Vieira, here we go! Proposal has been accepted as reported before.
Personal terms also completed, contract until June 2027. Vieira will undergo medical tests on Friday.”
According to report, Arsenal have submitted their proposal of €35m for the midfielder, as Porto have no intention of triggering the player’s release clause of €50m.
Fabio Vieira has accepted the chance to join Arsenal, as he dreams to play in the Premier League with Porto also ready to accept Arsenal offer for the midfielder.
Vieira will be Arsenal second signing of the Summer after Sao Paulo youngster Marquinhos.
