Chelsea reach verbal agreement on another top player

Chelsea is one the English Premier league heavy spenders in this summer transfer window,after signing Marc Cucurella, Carney Chukwuemeka, Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly. The new signings made a positive start during a 1-0 win over Everton.

The Blues haven’t released any senior player,which have resulted to a huge squad,that will be hectic to select the starting eleven,in the upcoming fixtures. Hence some notable names have been reported are on the verge of leaving Stamford Bridge.

According to Skysports, Chelsea have reached full agreement with Rb Leipzig,for the transfer of 26 year old German striker Timo Werner. He will leave on a permanent transfer,rather than loan deal as was previously reported. Since his arrival at London,Werner haven’t been at his best,and opted for a return to Bundesliga to secure regular first team football, to have at the national team ahead of the FIFA World Cup.

Werner have spent two seasons at Chelsea scoring 10 goals and registered 9 assists in 56 appearances. A reported fee of £30-£35m has been agreed,with medicals scheduled for tomorrow.
