Chelsea star has confirmed his departure from Stamford Bridge as he definitely leave the club with no option
The Spanish international said that he has a chances to leave Chelsea in the summer transfer window but they iron out the issues and he agreed to stay to be part of the squad.
Kepa Arrizabalaga replaced Mendy on Wednesday’s Champions League game against RB Salzburg which ended 1-1 in a point at piece at the Stamford Bridge.
The Sport Info gathered from Fabrizio Romano reports that Kepa is happy to stay at Stamford Bridge after the summer transfer window which he was supposed to leave the club.
Kepa tells @ellarguero: “I had chances to leave Chelsea in the summer – there were things, but the club always gave me their trust, they always wanted me to be part of the squad”.
“We analysed it and I am happy to stay and be in this great club”.
