Chelsea star injured in the international duty for his country

Christian Pulisic, a winger for Chelsea, is said to have hurt himself in training while on international duty with the USMNT.

The Mail says that the forward was hurt and couldn’t play in his team’s 2-0 loss to Japan in a friendly. The US Soccer Federation said that Pulisic couldn’t play because he got hurt this week while training.

On Tuesday (September 13), the USA will play another friendly against Saudi Arabia in Spain. This will be their last game before the FIFA World Cup. We still don’t know if Pulisic will be ready for the game. Giovanni Reyna, a great young player for Borussia Dortmund, started the game against Japan on the left wing instead of up front.

Pulisic has only started one game for Chelsea so far this season, but he has been involved in all eight of them. So far in the season, he hasn’t scored or helped score any goals. Since joining the Blues in 2019 from Dortmund, the forward has been a disappointment. He has scored 25 goals in 123 games, but he hasn’t made the first team.

Brad Friedel thinks that Christian Pulisic will get back on track at Chelsea.

Under Blues manager Graham Potter, the forward will want to play a lot for the first team. Friedel, a former US goalkeeper, thinks Pulisic will soon do well in the Premier League if Chelsea gives him a chance. Pulisic hasn’t done well in the last few months.
