Arsenal Finally Agrees Deal With Player's Agent Ahead of £80M Deal

Arsenal and the club’s sporting director Edu have not yet given up on their crucial search for an additional attacking force this January. The club looks exhausted in their pursuit of Ukrainian and Shaktar winger Mudryk and have launched a shock move to sign a perfect alternative.

Daily mail reports claim that Arsenal have surpassed Manchester United to secure the signature of 23 year old Portugal forward Felix Joao. The Atletico Madrid star has fallen down the pecking order under Simeone and the club has offered him not only on a loan deal but also part way.

The gunners have also gone ahead with talks with player’s agent Jorge Mendes as the club prepares a lucrative bid to lure the Laliga side into completing a deal. As previously reported by English media football.london, a loan fee set up by Laliga giants was £9.5M. However, Arsenal are ready to bid on a £80M fee which will include £70M summer switch plus the 6 months loan fee.

It remains to be seen on whether United will match a permanent move bid and knock the Londoners.
