Burnley have signed defender Jordan Beyer on a four-year deal from German side Borussia Monchengladbach after his loan spell at Turf Moor. The 22-year-old joined Burnley on 1 September and went on to make 35 appearances for the club. Beyer helped Vincent Kompany’s side keep 18 clean sheets on the way to winning the 2022-23 Championship title.
Chelsea want between £30-40m for Kovacic
Chelsea will demand between £30-40million for Man City target Mateo Kovacic in the summer window, sources have told Football Insider. The Blues midfielder, 29, is entering the final year of his contract at Stamford Bridge – and the Londoners could be forced to cash in as they look to trim the squad and balance the books in the off-season. Football Insider revealed on Wednesday (10 May) that Man City are ready to turn their full attention to signing Kovacic after a blow in their pursuit of Jude Bellingham.
Arsenal might move for Cancelo
Arsenal are reportedly ready to join Barcelona in the race for Joao Cancelo, with the Portuguese appearing to have no future at Manchester City, according to 90min. His loan deal to Bayern Munich includes the option for a €70 million (£61m/$76m) transfer, but said option is unlikely to be taken up by the reigning Bundesliga champions.
