Transfer News: Chelsea interested in signing Declan Rice, West Ham United looking to sign Arsenal trio

Chelsea interested in signing Ugarte

A report on the Portuguese outlet Record has suggested that Chelsea is targeting Manuel Ugarte from Sporting Lisbon. Despite spending big in their previous transfer windows, the Blues have failed to form a squad that could produce results for them.

With Pochettino being handed the charge of the club from next season, the Argentine could look to sign Ugarte and revamp Chelsea’s fortunes. The Blues would receive stiff competition from Liverpool who are also eyeing the Uruguayan midfielder.

West Ham United looking to sign Arsenal trio

According to CaughtOffside, West Ham United are plotting a triple raid on Arsenal in exchange for their star-midfielder Declan Rice. The England international is tipped to join the Gunners and West Ham United are looking to get three players in return for Rice. The Hammers are initially looking for a cash deal with the London outfit expected to pay a fee of around £120m for Rice, but the price could drop down if West Ham gets one or more players in an exchange deal.

David Moyes is reportedly targeting the trio of Reiss Nelson, Folarin Balogun and Albert Sambi Lokonga. With none of the above-mentioned players getting constant starts in Arteta’s team, the Spanish manager could be lured to ship the trio to West Ham for Rice.

Forest to pursue permanent Henderson deal

The Telegraph reports that Nottingham Forest will pursue a permanent deal for Dean Henderson this summer after taking him on loan from Manchester United in 2022.
