Transfer News:Chelsea tipped to sign Osimhen; Several clubs across Europe interested in Reiss Nelson

Ian Wright thinks Chelsea are in pole position to land Victor Osimhen – although he admits Romelu Lukaku might have something to say about that.

Osimhen, 24, has scored 28 goals in all competitions this season to fire Napoli to their first Serie A title in 33 years. The Italian club’s chair Aurelio De Laurentiis is determined to keep hold of the Nigeria international, who is unlikely to be sold for less than £100million.

It’s believed Chelsea have already agreed a deal to sign Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig in £63m deal this summer, with the Frenchman scoring 54 club goals since the start of last season. Yet Wright thinks Osimhen is the man to solve Chelsea’s problems.

The Arsenal legend told the Wrighty’s House podcast: “We’ve got to give him flowers man, we’ve got to. I wonder where he’s going to end up? It wouldn’t surprise me if it was Chelsea. Chelsea are going to try and get him I think.”

Several clubs across Europe interested in Reiss Nelson

Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson, whose contract with the Gunners expires this summer and is yet to agree to a new deal, has attracted interest from several clubs across Europe, according to Evening Standard.

West Ham, Fulham, Brighton, and AC Milan want to acquire the services of the 23-year-old Englishman on a free transfer.

Neymar urged to join Arsenal

Former Arsenal captain Gilberto Silva has urged compatriot Neymar to join the Gunners from PSG.

“Everyone knows the quality of Neymar, I don’t need to speak about his quality,” the Brazilian told reporters.

“I love the way he plays and I would love to see him at Arsenal instead of Newcastle because I love the boy as a player, but he also has a lot to contribute to football. He’s suffered some injury problems which have made life hard for him, but he has so much more to offer any football club.

“How would he fit in? Well, this would be a great task for Mikel! We have to wait and see, I don’t want to talk about a player who is still contracted to PSG.”

Man Utd target goalkeeper

Manchester United are interested in signing Bart Verbruggen, according to the Manchester Evening News.

The 20-year-old goalkeeper has impressed for Anderlecht this season.

Man Utd’s current No.1 David de Gea is out of contract in the summer.
