The proposed £8 million move of Chelsea forward Hakim Ziyech to Saudi Arabia side Al-Nassr has fallen through.
The 30-year-old was unable to reach a final agreement on contract terms, leaving Al-Nassr disappointed.
It is unclear if they will revive their interest later in the transfer window.
Ziyech, who is considered surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge, may return to Chelsea for pre-season training.
The winger had previously seen a loan move to Paris Saint-Germain collapse in January. Chelsea will now explore other potential destinations for Ziyech.
