Mauricio Pochettino set to complete £100m transfer deal

Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip from The Sport Info that we think you may have missed today

CHELSEA target Ryan Gravenberch has admitted that he will push for an exit from Bayern Munich if Thomas Tuchel cannot guarantee him more game time next season.

Chelsea have been one of the best sides in world football for the last few seasons – but they have looked nothing like the side that could pretty much win every game that they play.

That has led to some rumours in the media that Chelsea are ready to battle the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United for the services of Gravenberch – who could cost some serious money.

The Blues have identified Ryan Gravenberch as another midfield target and they are monitoring his situation, with reports on the Daily Express claiming that Thomas Tuchel will allow the Netherlands international to depart just 12 months after heading to join Bayern.

Gravenberch has admitted that he will push for a move away from Bayern if he cannot be guaranteed regular football: “I just want to play more, preferably at Bayern Munich,” he told De Telegraaf.

“And otherwise at a club where I play 100 per cent. That is my preference. Because I don’t want to have another year like the one I’ve had now.

‘One season like that is good, I really learned a lot. But I just want to play football.”

We have seen CHELSEA sign players over the last few windows that have reignited their careers at Stamford Bridge- and that could be the perfect move for Gravenberch to make next.

He is not really the type of player that will worry Man City and the rest of the Premier League – but he is still a talent.

But we are certain that Tuchel cannot guarantee the lad the game time he wants – he has to earn it.

Kante message –

N’Golo Kante has spoken out about his time at CHELSEA after his move to Saudi Arabia was confirmed.

The midfielder leaves Chelsea after seven years at the club to join France teammate Karim Benzema at Al Ittihad, where he’s signed a four-year deal.

A number of Kante’s former teammates are Chelsea may join him in a move to Saudi Arabia with Edouard Mendy, Kalidou Koulibaly, Hakim Ziyech and Romelu Lukaku linked.

Kante said: “The first day I joined Chelsea, I was told very early on that the objective here is always to win trophies. Always.

“I’ve managed to do that and I’m so grateful for my coaches, my team-mates and the Chelsea supporters for helping me achieve this.

“The last few years at this club have been great for me and, I hope, for the Chelsea fans too.

“Ever since I joined, that need to win has been there. It’s the Chelsea spirit and you feel it straightaway. The players feel and all the coaches we’ve had, they’ve all shared a burning desire to win titles and trophies.

“I’ve always wanted to be at the top and being at CHELSEA, they helped me achieve my dream.

‘Here I’ve celebrated great victories, great trophies and I’ve been able to grow as a footballer.

“I’m just grateful for my journey. I think of all the people I’ve met on the way, people who shared the same dream as me to make it as a professional footballer, to make it to the top.

“Not everyone can fulfil their dreams. I’m fortunate. I’m succeeded and I made the decision to always remember how far I’ve come and to enjoy the ride.”

Poch wants Osimhen –

CHELSEA ‘would absolutely love’ to lure Napoli star Victor Osimhen to Stamford Bridge, CBS reporter Ben Jacobs has claimed.

It is no secret that Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino will be looking to improve that attack this summer transfer window – as the Blues really struggled for goals last season.

Christopher Nkunku has already make the move to Stamford Bridge – but it is no secret that Pochettino wants to add another striker and Osimhen is a man that has been linked with a move to the club.

Osimhen played a crucial role in Napoli being crowned last season’s Serie A champions and was the Leagues top scorer.

But his fine form was not limited to domestic action as he also found the back of the net five times in the Champions League, taking his tally for the campaign to 31.

And if you believe the words of Jacobs – Pochettino would love to have Osimhen at the club – he told GIVEMESPORT: “Obviously, Chelsea would absolutely love a player like Victor Osimhen, but Napoli still haven’t really given anybody hope that they will sell.

“That’s down to the player to drive a move to the Premier League, but he might well be out of Chelsea’s budget.

“Let’s not forget the price that Napoli paid Lille for Osimhen. If you include the add-ons, guaranteed fee and the valuation of the player swaps, it’s a total package of €80million.

‘This is why Napoli are asking for nearly double that amount, and that’s far above what Chelsea can or would want to pay.”

After the season he has just had at Napoli – Osimhen is a man in demand and if CHELSEA really want him – then they will pay whaetver it takes to get a deal done.

It just depends on whether or not THEY REALLY WANT HIM!
