Chelsea close to confirm second summer transfer signing after Tosin

Chelsea are looking very serious in this summer transfer window and are reportedly close to making their second signing.

The Blues announced the signing of Tosin Adarabioyo few days ago after the Fulham man joined them on a free transfer deal, following the expiration of his contract at Craven Cottage.

Now, they are very close to making a similar announcement again.

According to Givemesport, Chelsea have verbally agreed on personal terms with Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise, an are scheduling payment structures to meet his release clause at the club.

The Blues have been keen on signing the talented winger, who has been impressing in the Premier League, and have now taken a crucial step towards achieving that.

The winger, who has been described most times as 'sensational' has been attracting interest from multiple clubs, including Manchester United and Arsenal, but Chelsea appear to be ahead of them in the race to sign the 21-year-old.

However, I will like to inform us that nothing has been officially signed, and there could be other twists as time progresses.

Manchester United, in particular, remain interested in Olise and could yet present an offer to the Crystal Palace's man that rivals the proposal made by Chelsea.

With personal terms now verbally agreed, The Blues will look to reach an agreement with Crystal Palace on how to reach a compromise on his transfer fee.

However, The Eagles are likely to drive a hard bargain, given Olise's impressive performances and the interest from other top clubs.
