Done deal as Arsenal first January signing arrives London for medical ahead possible move to Emirates

Arsenal will be confirming the first signing any day from today after they have reached an agreement to secure the signature of the 27 year-old. Mikel Arteta wants to release Benard Leno who seems to have lost his first goalkeeper spot to Aaron Ramstadale. The gunners and Germany goalkeeper is considering joining Newcastle United on a permanent deal.

New Revolution goalkeeper Turner has agreed to join Arsenal for a 5 year-deal. The experienced goalkeeper wants to replace Leno. Arsenal fans have been on a long wait for confirmation of the first deal and it seems it’s a done deal.

“Bernd Leno really wants to leave to play regular first-team football.“Turner deal is pretty much all agreed in terms of the player’s side, it’s just the two clubs that need to agree on the formalities of the deal. I expect Turner to come in.” Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta knows the quality Turner has despite many underating him.

The gunners are also in advanced negotiations in others deals including the signing of Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz. The Brazilian has been linked as a shock move for the gunners in January transfer after facing a blow in their quest for Juventus Star Arthur Melo.
